Hi Master Gardeners:
Andrea and Galen Guerrette and Kira Farmer and Brooke Freeman have done a great job at the Sunnyside Farmers
Market. Even though attendance is low, we would like to keep up our tabling presence at the market. The market is 2:30-6:30 on Wednesdays and runs until Sept. 12.
Kira and Brooke have come up with different activities to attract people to the table. For tomorrow, July 11, they will have our weed display where
folks can guess what the weed is. We could use 1-2 more MG volunteers.
Next
week we will have a 'wheel of fortune' type wheel. For participants
that spin the wheel, if they answer a question, they get a prize. We
could use 1-2 more MG volunteers to answer gardening questions.
Kira's last day with us is tomorrow and Brooke's is July 26. If you can help with the next two markets, or future markets, please let me know, or sign
up at our CMGA meeting on Thursday. Andrea and Galen are away right now.
I don't have the Sunnyside Farmer's Market sign up sheet so if you already signed up, my apologies. Just let me know.
