The Coconino Master Gardener Association began in 2009 to create a corps of well-informed volunteers, and to deliver quality horticultural education programs adapted to our regional high elevation environment. The association provides support for Master Gardener graduates and volunteers as well as continuing education and opportunities to participate in community programs that increase the visibility and participation in the Master Gardener Program.

Residential Compost Pick-up

Residential Compost Pick up!

Corbin Composting in partnership with Forestdale Farm

Greetings composters and friends of compost,
Corbin Composting in partnership with Forestdale Farm are picking up Flagstaff’s residential compost collection where Roots Composting left off. We would love to serve you and meet your compost needs.
We will be offering monthly residential compost collection with pick ups on the second and fourth Tuesdays of each month. We will provide you with a 5 gallon bucket which we will switch out each pickup. (One time non-refundable $5 bucket deposit.)
Cost is $20/month in Flagstaff and $25/month for Doney Park, Kachina Village, and Mountainaire.
Thank you for your interest and understanding while we fine tune the process to work for you while also making this sustainable enough to continue into the future. We welcome your feedback and recommendations on how to optimize the service.
We would like to begin in July but will need a minimum of 25 folks in order to begin. If you are interested, please let us know by responding back to this email. If not, please feel free to share this information with anyone you think may be interested. We will not ask you to pay until we get to our critical mass. At that time, we will email out contracts and ask for payment.
We are excited to offer this service and work with you. Thank you,
Cara Corbin and Rylan Morton-Starner
