Reporting Master Gardener Hours

All master gardener trainees and certified master gardeners need to report their hours.
Beginning in 2010 certified master gardeners need to have 6 Education hours and 12 Volunteer hours in order to maintain certification. The on line reporting system allows you to report Education or Volunteer hours. You can sign in to record hours in the right hand column under Recording Volunteer and Education Hours. Just click on the U. of A.
If you have any questions or concerns about the new reporting system, please contact Brenda Smith (A - M) or Sue Madden (N - Z). Their contacts are listed at the bottom of the blog under
Contacts.

Docent Training at the Arboretum

The Arboretum at Flagstaff 2017
Docent Training Program

Gain knowledge, Give back
Every Wednesday, March 1 - April 19 from 10am - 2:15pm
March 1 - 29 classes will be held at Coconino Cooperative Extension
April 5 - 19 classes will be held at the Arboretum at Flagstaff

What is an Arboretum docent?
As trained volunteers, docents assist with public tours, school field trips, and community programs
taking place at The Arboretum. Docents are valued members of The Arboretum community and the
“front-line” of the work that we do to educate and inspire all visitors.

Located on 200 acres, The Arboretum at Flagstaff is a nonprofit organization and home to 750 species of
plants in gardens, greenhouses, and natural habitats. We support the community as a research and
conservation center, outdoor education facility, summer camp, and unique venue for retreats and
special events.
