Welcome to the Coconino County Master Gardeners Association

The Coconino Master Gardener Association began in 2009 to create a corps of well-informed volunteers, and to deliver quality horticultural education programs adapted to our regional high elevation environment. The association provides support for Master Gardener graduates and volunteers as well as continuing education and opportunities to participate in community programs that increase the visibility and participation in the Master Gardener Program.

Greenhouse and Orchard Tour followed by a Potluck

Our October Meeting is on

Saturday, October 7, 10:30 am to 1:30 pm

at Jim Mast’s home in Clarkdale for a tour of his greenhouse and orchard followed by a potluck picnic.

Where:

128 Rincon Drive, Clarkdale. Jim says it takes about 1 hour and 15 minutes to get to Clarkdale whether you go through Sedona or take I 17 because of construction. You can get directions from Google Maps but Jim suggests that once you are in Clarkdale the best route is Broadway to Main St., left on Mesquite Tr., and left on Rincon Dr. We suggest carpooling if possible. Parking is limited (in the driveway or on the street) so please make arrangements to share a ride. We are limiting attendance to the first 35 people who sign up.

Sign up instructions: email Hattie at hbraun@arizona.edu to RSVP

General Info:

Bring a favorite dish to share with 8 other people. Hattie will provide a couple of tables for the food and you need to bring your own chair (folding or camp). Drinks will be provided but bring your own water for the tour.
