2023 CMGA Grants Available

2023 CMGA Community Project Grants Program

Does your group or organization have a gardening project that you want to undertake but lack sufficient funding? The Coconino Master Gardener Association has grant assistance to support organizations and groups who intend to educate community members in the fields of sustainable horticulture or community gardening.

The program will be accomplished by awarding grants to those organizations and businesses whose proposals are compatible with the purposes of CMGA. Grants are made possible by funds allocated for that purpose by the CMGA events, including plant sales, membership fees and donations from the public.

The funding level will be determined by the Board during the annual budget process.  The max award for 2023 Grants is $500. Unused funds may carry forward to the next year. Awards will be based on the recommendations of the CMGA Grants Committee with final approval from the CMGA board.

There will be one grant cycle per year in the Spring (March applications, April awards).

Awards will be made based on the criteria, guidelines and any other factors as the Committee and / or Board may determine. Deadline to apply for 2023 Grant is Monday, April 3, 2023
