Welcome to the Coconino County Master Gardeners Association

The Coconino Master Gardener Association began in 2009 to create a corps of well-informed volunteers, and to deliver quality horticultural education programs adapted to our regional high elevation environment. The association provides support for Master Gardener graduates and volunteers as well as continuing education and opportunities to participate in community programs that increase the visibility and participation in the Master Gardener Program.


Monthly meetings are held on the 2nd Thursday from 6:00 pm - 8:30 pm
Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church
1601 N. San Francisco St. in Flagstaff, Arizona.

CMGA 2017 Garden Grants

It's time to think about gardening projects again! 
We're happy to announce that we've moved our grant cycle deadline to January 31st instead of May 31st and that we've allocated $5,000 for grants!

Call for Grant Applications 
The Coconino County Master Gardner Association is currently accepting applications for the 2017 gardening season. Submit your application by  January 31st, 2017 Applications can be found at LINK
 Or contact Jackee Alston @ cocogardenprojects@gmail.com or (928) 814-2280 to have an electronic copy sent to you. 
Qualifying projects should: 1. Fill a need or give value to the community and/or CMGA. 2. Have some educational component for gardeners on the project. 
Notification of funding will be announced early February and checks mailed out shortly after.
