Welcome to the Coconino County Master Gardeners Association

The Coconino Master Gardener Association began in 2009 to create a corps of well-informed volunteers, and to deliver quality horticultural education programs adapted to our regional high elevation environment. The association provides support for Master Gardener graduates and volunteers as well as continuing education and opportunities to participate in community programs that increase the visibility and participation in the Master Gardener Program.


Monthly meetings are held on the 2nd Thursday from 6:00 pm - 8:30 pm
Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church
1601 N. San Francisco St. in Flagstaff, Arizona.

Keep Sedona Beautiful Mitzvah Day



10th Annual Mitzvah (Good Deed) Day 

An inter-generational, interfaith, spirit-led day  
of service to our communities and neighbors.

Schedule:
 
NOON - Check in at one of the following places:
  • St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, 100 Arroyo Pinon Dr., Sedona
  • Sedona United Methodist Church, 110 Indian Cliffs Rd, Sedona
  • Living Water Church, 1380 E. Mingus Ave, Cottonwood
12:30-3:30PM - Work at project sites

4:00PM - Arrive back at St. Andrews Episcopal Church, 100 Arroya Pinon Dr., Sedona for pizza party and sharing your stories of the day.

Gardens for Humanity will be sponsoring two volunteer projects. Join us and help out.
Peace Garden at the Creative Life Center:
  • Digging trenches for new irrigation lines
  • Mulching
  • Planting
  • Trimming
Red Rock High School Garden:
  • Help move and spread wood chips for garden pathway
