Welcome to the Coconino County Master Gardeners Association

The Coconino Master Gardener Association began in 2009 to create a corps of well-informed volunteers, and to deliver quality horticultural education programs adapted to our regional high elevation environment. The association provides support for Master Gardener graduates and volunteers as well as continuing education and opportunities to participate in community programs that increase the visibility and participation in the Master Gardener Program.

Monthly meetings are held on the 2nd Thursday from 6:00 pm - 8:30 pm
Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church

Upcoming learning experiences at Olivia White Hospice Home

There are two learning experiences coming up Olivia White Hospice Home:

May 23, 10am:  Hattie Braun will be demonstrating rose pruning followed by a pruning in our gardens with more than 40 roses.

June 13, 10:15am:  Dorothy Lamm will talk about noxious weeds in Switzer Canyon followed by work to remove them.

Both days will go until about noon. Parking is available at the First Congregational Church on Turquoise just past Switzer Canyon Drive. Do not park at the home. We will have water available and tools. Long pants, close toed shoes, and a hat are recommended. If you are not one of our regular gardeners, you will be required to sign a one day liability release and hear some brief information on confidentiality required at a Medicare facility.

Come join us! If you have any questions feel free to e-mail:
