Attached is a link to the Garden Grants for 2022. We were able to
award more than $3000 this year, because of last year's fundraising.
Check out the grants for opportunities to do your volunteer hours this
year. I am sure they can all use master gardener help. The grants
included 6 non-profits and 2 schools. The Extension is also paying for
funds that were requested for the Grow Flagstaff seed library. That
enabled us to fund an additional non-profit. Be sure to join our
fundraising activities this year so we have plenty of funds to provide
next year's grants.
I am planning on
limiting some of my volunteer work next year so I can do a little
traveling. We are looking for 2 or more people to take charge of the
grants next year. It requires work only part of the year Jan.- April and
then only to make sure people turn in receipts at the end of the year.
