Swallowtail on Carolina Jasmine

Because of our recent presentation on pollinators I had to include this photo a friend sent from Yavapai county. The vine probably would not work for Flagstaff, but the swallowtail is a butterfly I see frequently. The photo is from the Palmers. Nancy is a Coconino County Master Gardener and helped to create many gardens at Olivia White Hospice (original Faerie Garden). She  now has a beautiful garden in the Village of Oak Creek. Bruce her husband took the photo. Enjoy!

The list of flowers from the last meeting is on the blog. Look under Pages/References and Resources in the right hand column. It is a great resource list for plants to bring those pollinators to your garden.
