WHO SHOULD ATTEND? 
We are pleased to announce the first annual conference designed specifically for the continuing education of Master Gardeners and focused on the Sonoran Desert. This conference is open exclusively to Arizona Master Gardeners.

WHAT WILL BE INCLUDED?
Light breakfast, lunch, afternoon snack, conference packet and welcome bag, as well as a full day of wonderful, educational lectures and roundtables. 

HOW MUCH DOES THE CONFERENCE COST?

Only $35 if register by January 31 / $50 - Late registration February 1 thru February 22.
Pre-registration is required and must be received no later than February 22. 
Attendees will receive a confirmation email with logistics 2-weeks prior to event.
No refunds after 2/22.

CONFERENCE AGENDA
Explore a wide range of topics that will help you sharpen your skills as a Master Gardener. Join us for a day that will broaden your knowledge of urban and suburban horticulture. Equip yourself for volunteer roles in school and community gardens, diagnostic clinics, municipal gardens, local botanical gardens, arboretums, garden and landscape shows as well as in your own landscape and garden.

Multiple Sessions in 4 Tracks:

Track 1: Integrated Pest Management
Track 2: Design        
Track 3: Edibles
Track 4: Sustainability in the Arid Landscape

Roundtable Discussions throughout the day on topics such as:

Diagnostics, Propagation, Gardening Techniques and Ornamentals in the Desert

Schedule:
8:15am - Registration and Continental Breakfast
9:00am - Welcome and Keynote Address
10:15am - Breakout Session 1
11:15am - Breakout Session 2
12:15pm - Lunch Break/Visit Vendors/Door Prizes
1:45pm - Breakout Session 3
2:45pm - Closing Panel: Food Security
3:30pm - Conference Adjourns

NOTE: ALL SPEAKERS, TOPICS AND TIMES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE WITHOUT NOTICE.

Free close parking will be available for all attendees. In addition, the conference is being held on the first day of the University's Spring Break to minimize any potential traffic and congestion around the campus.

Attendees coming from out-of-town are encouraged to arrive early for the renowned Tucson Festival of Books (www.tucsonfestivalofbooks.org) on the University of Arizona campus
on Saturday, March 9th and Sunday, March 10th, one of the top book festivals in the nation.
